We are pleased to announce the launch of the "Food and Agriculture Technologies Accelerator" under the Sunbolah Entrepreneurship Program, which commenced at the beginning of this month with the participation of 13 startups specializing in food and agriculture technologies. These startups represent eight countries worldwide, including four Saudi companies. The program was held over the course of a full week in Riyadh, combining hands-on experience with rich knowledge exchange. Throughout the week, participants engaged in an intensive interactive experience aimed at empowering startups, fostering collaboration opportunities with key stakeholders in the sector, and contributing to the growth of the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the sustainability of the agriculture and food sectors in the Kingdom. Activities included specialized knowledge sessions, interactive discussions, and presentations that enabled knowledge sharing and the building of broad professional networks. The accelerator’s activities featured meetings with leading organizations from both the public and private sectors, including: Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), Agricultural Development Fund, Saudi Coffee Company, NADEC Foods, Sanabil 500 MENA, as well as local and global venture capital firms such as Wa’ed Ventures (Aramco), BIM Ventures, and Sukna Ventures.
